What we've done
Awareness-raising events have brought villagers together in support of the flood alleviation scheme and raised more than £5,000 so far. See a summary and links to pictures of our events below.
Garden Walkabout
Fourteen villagers opened their gardens to more than 200 members of the public over a weekend in July. More than £1,800 was raised from entry fees, donations, sales of cream teas and steak baps, a treasure hunt, and plant, book and bric-a-brac sales.
Angling competition
An open fishing match held on the River Severn in Kempsey raised £50.
Bund Aid
Thank you to everyone who attended our mini music festival and especially to our talented performers who gave their time for free: Jenny Harwood, Avarus, No Exit, The Colne House Trio, Mudball and Bash: Roland. We raised just over £1,000.
